The Homeschool Extras STEM program offers hands-on learning experiences designed to inspire creativity and critical thinking for homeschool students in grades 3–8 (teens are welcome too). In our STEM classes, students use LEGO® Technic along with Powered Up hubs and motors to explore mechanical concepts and put them into action through building.
For Session 4 on Thursdays, STEM: Machines goes big. Students will work together to design and build one or more large machines, focusing on motors, motion, and mechanical systems. Think motors. Think motion. Think big.
