Description
Online Intermediate Scratch Coding Class
Ages 10+ | Live Online Class | Some Scratch Experience Required
Dates: October 21 – December 9
Time: Wednesdays at 1:30 PM Eastern Time
Location: Live online through Zoom
Ready to take your Scratch skills further? Students will build Pocket Farm, a farming game where players buy land, plant crops, watch them grow, and earn money to expand their farm!
Through live instruction and guided practice, students will explore variables, clones, messages, and game logic. We’ll connect the code to what happens on screen, helping students understand how each part works and how to make the game their own.
This class is designed for students who have used Scratch before and are comfortable connecting blocks and creating scripts. Students don’t need to know every concept—we’ll build on the basics together!
The class includes seven live online lessons, printable step-by-step workbooks, time to build, and opportunities to ask questions.
Students need a desktop or laptop computer, internet access, Scratch, and the free Zoom app. A free Scratch account is recommended so projects can be saved and shared with the instructor.
The Zoom link will be emailed to registered families the day before the first class.
Grow your coding skills!
